SEAN

Sean Nolan started his career after leaving a life of fashion and design. He went from a young assistant to a technical educator in 8 short months after joining the Tony & Guy/Essensuals team in the suburbs of West London. He then joined the company’s huge international educational team helping to standardise and train throughout their huge brand.

 

After proving his industry worth he moved forward to teach in both private and public sector for some 7 years; designing and implementing training programmes and policies and gaining his PGCE in teaching.

His career has let him work with recording artists from DefJam, Island, Polydor, Universal, Warner musiland Midget records and photographic forward thinkers such as Ram Shergill, Andrew O’Toole, John Rawson, Derrick Santini, Julia Eskell and Azza Az whilst his fashion connections and talent have allowed him attain credits in VICE, BULLET, DIVA mag, Creative Head, Tribute, Salon Business Magazine, Hairdressers Journal, Black Beauty and Hair, and The Professional Hairdresser.

Now he is responsible for the hair colour of megastar of Jess Glynne and taming the tresses of the beautiful Vanessa White of previous Saturdays fame.

With a breadth of experience from working on The X-Factor right through to creatively directing performances for The Alternative Hair Show on stages such as the Royal Albert Hall he has mastered his art and is passionate about passing on his craft.

 

He has redirected his passion for education and inspiration heading the Burlingtons name as their International Artistic Director and working with Goldwell as one of their featured ambassadors and winning the honour of being one of the top five Goldwell colour experts in the UK two years running and  has now moved to HOB group where he hopes to make the same impact.

With awards and accolades under his professional belt Such as Number one Wella Colourist in the Uk 2013 and Number two globally in 2014 he has achieved Master Colourist status.

He has master Colour Qualifications with L’Oreal adn Goldwell and he is pushing boundaries like no other young Artistic Director around.

 

His Styling was recently branded as "Amazing" by celeb stylist himself, James Brown on E4's The Great British Hairdresser.
He's been labelled by Goldwell as a “Rising Star”
He truly understands and conveys what it is to be a professional and is bringing this craft back to the fore-front of fashion.
